9:25a Mwahaha! Net leeching e_e;;; Oh dear, oh dear~ (Shaky net connection being stolen is better than no net connection at all ;p) But yeah, up in the Midlands at the moment visiting my mom. Today we're off to Birmingham, having a meeting with a lady from GAME regarding my position at GameStation, coffee/lunch with my Uncle Clive, then shopping/window shopping (the latter is FAR more likely at the moment) after that we come back here, go see nan at hospital and maybe my favourite cousin Scott (who I haven't seen in maybe, like, five years?! O_O;; ) will be there and this is good stuffs! Then~ BACK to Birmingham New Stret to tackle the unsymbolic again~ Missing my creatore_magico like woah. Want to grope my drazzi's boobies (Because I CAN IF I WANNA, damn it e___e;; ) Nervous, nervous, nervous... Just a meeting, Ghostie. You can do it. No worries. Coffee. Coffee is good. Ugh! Then shower. I'm tired from all the gossiping last night with mom and then watching Run, Fat Boy, Run. While I'm up here I WILL get her to watch V for Vendetta adnjansjak ♥ Right! 12:37p ♪ Light up, Light up, As if You have a Choice Pause and breathe. WARNING!! In case it wasn't obvious, this is a VERY tl;dr post I finally have had chance to sit down and collect myself after almost a month of being non-stop all over the place. And now I have five minutes... I can't actually think properly XD;; So, myself, rwylin_ni and xaerael all drove up for London Expo and had a real blast, stole ourselves a wasuremono_desu, possibly scared lex_is_evil in the process. I also briefly ran by the ever wonderful yuki0t0 who I regret not getting more time with like crazy *WHINE!* I also saw the amazing and and wonderful seraphim_cry and kinesis2040, who I also wish I could have grabbed more time with while I was in London but fate hates us, clearly T_T Next time, lovelies! It must be so~ I also crashed into sinxsational and the omgwhysofuckingcute yuka02 who were both awesome as ever~ Squeefulness to see the cowgirlem (who does not do LJ but I link to anyways) veryvery briefly (Seriously, NOT enough real time to see people properly nor is it easy to get back in contact when running around the place in cosplay), Mik and Ashlea, Amy as well briefly, and the woooooonderful mrdarkchaos and the Tokyo Toys guys and nert who again I didn't get to chew on nearly enough, and lil_silver-wulfie andandand... dsabdkjabsjdbasjba Seriously. I bumped into SO many people and I don't think I could possibly remember everyone so please don't feel bad if I fell into you and forgot to mention you just-- wow. It's events like this that make my head spin at how many awesome people I come into contact with. The weekend itself was great, actually. Before leaving I had a "miniature" panic attack which I am still less than impressed about looking back on it and I feel so bad for creatore_magico and drazzi for having to deal with it, but so grateful for them putting up with it. The Friday was a mostly uneventful ride up, a brief meeting with richardiii in the evening to grab food and let him take bags. We then headed back, dorked around in cosplay for a while with jadeica and just... yeah, dorking. Saturday was INSANE. I am so not used to wearing a high profile cosplay or getting stopped for photos as much as we were. It was crazy. Fun, but crazy. We made up th game "How many steps can we take before we get stopped and asked for a photo" and the winning number was fifteen. Seriously. It took us the best part of an hour to get from the entrance to the cosplay desk for being stopped so much ajdskadas @_@;; The evening rolled around and we flopped off to get changed and grab food. All Satuday and Sunday was in the company of wasuremono_desu, who is-- well, I think we decided we are in fact long lost siblings. I has a little brother. Oh, mother! Why didn't you tell me this!! orz But yes, with the Tom we were also able to go to the Expo Cosplay Ball which was-- well. Um... I wouldn't have paid for it, but it looked like fun from where we were sat chattering? :3;;; Sunday I woke up feeling very not good. I blame this on so much rushing around the day before and dehiration. After some TMI, going back to bed and sleeping for another couple of hours, however, I picked up and woke up as a hyper xaerael came back squeeing about getting into the masquerade. So, viewer ticket in hand, we headed back with Al-Xae again and had some hanging out time before the masquerade thing itself. And Al won third place! :D --- After many pouting faces along with "See you soon~" at the end of the Sunday expo, I hopped the tube to meet with richardiii again and the zeitgeist_lj peoples at the Sunday Mortals game, which was much fun with BSDs and silly werewolf hunters. Was a lot of fun indeed :D The rest of the week was spent hanging out at Owen's place, generally. Tuesday we all kinda flopped down at annwfyn and pierot's place and had general jovial times. Camden market is amazing and I wanted to MOVE THERE AND NEVER LEAVE *____*;; Seriously. Oh my god (Skyler, we must hit it up sometime! Sexysexy clothes GET! asdnjajak ohmanseriously~) it was awesome. So much shiny things there. I was like an inch away from buying this beautiful black cane with a silver top for £12 b-but... I forced myself not to. It was just... wow. SO very wow. I loved it. We also got to see Avenue Q while I was up there which the Owen treated me to. The theatre it was in was SO pretty. I wish I'd taken photos *___*;; The play itself had me in bits for laughing. I already knew the OST pretty well but it didn't compare to actually seeing it on stage. It was wonderful, the actors were great and their energy was so much fun to watch. It was great, really and truly. I had a fabulous time. The Saturday was more Zeigeist, a hit on the BSDs in the morning and a fairy party in the evening. The fight in the afternoon seemed so scary to watch. I'm still not used to the system at all, but the part was all social and flirting. It was a lot of fun, as was garou and Camarilla on Sunday. adnsakjnsakj I'm still so nervous with the LARPing but it's so much fun, regardless. ...I just remembered, however, that Zad still has my Shiki shirt from when I changed for Manna so I need to poke Owen to nab that back for me. Consider yourself jabbed ;D ♥ Monday was the travel back and the now traditional lunch in Paddington which consists of YO! Sushi and death-in-donut-form Krispy Kreme. I want more pumpkin korroke T_T --- I got back and because of trains being bastards I got to see drazzi for another two days before she had to go home, which was great because I thought I wasn't going to see her again this year. It made me insanely happy. So, Wednesday rolled over onto us, drazzi went back to Liverpool in the morning and there was sad times... along with watching a seagull pick at a dead magpie on the tracks. Ew. What the hell were we thinking? @__@;;; Anyways, there was nervous Costa drinking and general time wasting waiting for 4pm-ish to roll around... asnjdkaandsk Yeah. I was nervous as hell, and was a moron and read the time wrong so poor unsymbolic was left at the trainstation for a while waiting for me and dad to come get him ndjnaskjdnajsdan .________. *FAILS!* But yeah, went to the coffee shop at the station, saw him instantly and it was all good. Happy and comfortable click and all was good. We had wanderings around the harbour after dinner which was and watched fireworks since it was November 5th and just... eeee~ ♥ Next day we had a bit of a road trip, kinda. Went to Exeter for an apointment creatore_magico had, then tried to pick up a package for xaerael that we'd missed because we were out and went to YukiSan for lunch. Mmm~ was a nice day, as was staying up until crazy-in-the morning chattering X) --- Friday we hopped in dad's car and he drove us to Tintagel, via Dartmoor and... wow, it's really pretty down here. I always knew this, but the way we went was really stunning with the trees, rivers, old stone walls and huge spans of the moor itself. Amazing. I wish I'd gotten photos. We were actually the first three to get to the hostel so we claimed a room and beds and waited for others to arrive. And when they did... errr... it was insane XD;;; Awesomely fun insane with lots of drinking and porn, but still insane XD!! While I was there I actually met... well, myself! Myself and son_of_darkness have drawn up the conclusion that we are, in fact, the same person. So me-myself-and-I-Kye is officially awesome. I was also joyed to meet softrock, who was an utter sweetheart who I can never thank enough for all his words of reassurance and general kindness throughout the weekend right to the very last moment. Truly, honestly, I am a grateful Ghostie. I also met the truly wonderful kabal42 ♥, the amazingly witty and charming annephoenix, magic_at_mungos who had an amazingly infectious giggle (just like kamara's :D), gingergirl1977 who was soso sweet and had fabulous ballistics~ ♪ as well as several others who I have yet to track down on the LJ yet ^^;;; But yeah, we decorate the hostel with various floating candles, Harry Potter house colours, bats, spiders, rats, etc. and made it all pretty and then drank LOTS of alcohol and a fun time was had by all. I think X);;; Saturday we set off on an amble around the area, despite my splitting headache (totally NOTHING to do with the amount of cider that was consumed the night before. Nope =x) we wandered through the castle of Tintagel and it was amazing. So beautiful, and I was in wonderful comapny which made the whole thing even better. The fact creatore_magico got to come with us was just... so fabulous. I'm suddenly aware of how much I'm using the words 'wonderful', 'awesome', 'amazing' etc, but I can't really think of other words because it was exactly that. It was great. I loved it so much. There was considerably less drinking on Saturday, but fun tiems were still had by all, I think, and this is good. I had an unspeakably good time~ ♥ ( Photos? Oh, you bet there are! ) Sunday was a little sad because it was goodbye day. Dad was going to come get me and creatore_magico and take us home, unsymbolic was going to go with softrock to Cardiff via Yoviel for cards that Tyma wanted, but offered to take us too so they were going to Yoviel via Torquay. Because it got late in the end, we told Tyma to go to Yoviel first, then Torquay and we'd put toward petrol so~ we had a bit of a road trip. When we stopped for food Tyma suggested we tell Skyler to divert from plan to go right to Cardiff and instead stay at our place another night and then leave early the next day. I'm all teary now because the Tyma was SO wonderful in letting us steal extra time with the Skyler and it was really unspeakably amazing to effectively have gotten a whole extra day and just... yeah. Heh, feeling a bit silly for randomly getting all tearful now of all times but... yeah. I do appreciate it all and the final goodbye was hard as hell and I really didn't want to do it but y'know, stuff. So, Tyma and Skyler shuffled off and I called mom to see how things are going. --- Yes, onto the srs bzns here. So, nan went into hospital a few weeks ago after she collapsed. She was dellusional and generally not well at all. She's apparently picking up a bit, she's not so dellusional now but she's not better and not out of hospital. I'm going up on Thursday for several reasons; to see mom and give her some support, see nan herself, to see a lady from HR who I was meant to see today but couldn't for unforseen reasons (she wanted to meet on Friday but I said I couldn't because I was going to Birmingham, turns out she's stationed there sooooo~ yeah) and because the unsymbolic is trundling through on Friday and I want to steal even more time with him while he's still over the pond. Few more days at nan's place with mom, then again with the gnawing on Skyler and seeing him off at the airport on... Wednesday morning. I think. Eep. Do not want .___. VERY. Do. Not. Want. And THEN (yes, there's more) creatore_magico and I off to Hastings for the first week of December to see sticksturner and possibly more Zeitgeisting if it's game on. The month of Christmasing... Hm. Plans are not to spend it here this year but I'm not actually going to go into that anymore because I don't want to get my hopes up too much just yet. We'll see, we'll see, but it'll be awesome. Watch this space, yo! --- On roleplay, because it was going to be said eventually. I am, truly, so sorry for my bollocks lately but as this OH GOOD LORD TL;DR post suggests I just haven't had time to be at my PC. I'm hoping that in the new year or something I will pick up Kyouya and Allen again at polychromatic again, if they are free. Fingers crossed there, but we'll see. It also seems stoppedtrains died while I was gone. I'm a little sad because the casts we had and the characters I got to play were SO much fun. And~ seemingly I'm not in amatomnes anymore, either. So I am officially out of the public RP scene at the moment. I may pick up a character at a quiet game, but for now I'm sticking to little muse boxes, one-on-one bits and whatnot. Shall see where things go. Is certainly not through lack of love for characters OR RP that I'm doing this, it's just pure lack of time and it not being fair on other players. Sob. Oh wells, as many suggested there is always Shiny and whatnot ♥ --- I'm also a moron and instead of paying for an extension on my icons again I paid for my account again. D'OH! Oh well, at least I don't have to worry about it again until 2010 XD;; And just before perm accounts are due to go on sale again. D'ooooooooh T_____T Fail, as I keep saying, is I orz ...I dunno if I have anything else to say except eeeeee~ look what Kulet did! ♥ asdnjkadjas The last few weeks have been crazy, but amazing. Thank you so much to everyone who contantly remind me how damned lucky I am. I am far from deserving of all the exceptional things I have, but I will never take them for granted and I will never forget what a lucky bastard I am. Thank you ♥ tl;dr post is FINALLY over. 6:52p Back home once again, this time from Tintgeal. This weekend has been unspeakable awesome. Seriously. I... have no words right now. I have so many things to do now the hiatus is finally over, or apologise for amazing fail and dismissal, but not today. Nope, sorry. Running on already stolen time with unsymbolic now since tonight is almost certainly the last night we'll get and I plan to make the most of it.
